cheerleader logo In 2004, Robert “Rob” Godsill, co-owner of five Sunrise Restaurants in Boise and the surrounding areas, came to Excell Business Management with an idea of a new dining experience in the Treasure Valley. Excell provided business consulting and assistance through all phases of the project, bringing Rob’s dream to fruition in the summer of 2005.

In July, 2005, Rob opened Cheerleaders Sports Bar & Grill in the Eagle River Business Complex in Eagle, Idaho. Emulating the ESPN Zone, it is a unique family dining experience for the sports enthusiast!

Excell Business Management began with a Business Plan to acquire a business loans for Cheerleaders; which also included creating a holding company for the building. We created this plan through information gathering and an extensive knowledge of business principals and applications. With Excell’s background and years of consulting, Rob was secure in knowing that we were a great partnering team for his venture.

Excell obtained the liquor license for Cheerleaders and assisted in acquiring necessary permits and documentation per City and State ordinances.

Rob and Excell worked together to form the “team” for Cheerleaders. After the management team had been chosen, we ran weekly meetings in our office, where each week the team members were given tasks to assist them in developing their own areas of the restaurant. In this phase, each area - which included the dining/family rooms, bar, kitchen, memorabilia store and administration – was defined and created. With the combined effort of Excell Business Management, Rob and the Management team, the restaurant came to life!

Once the restaurant was established, Excell began handling the financial side of Cheerleaders. Currently we provide full administrative services, from Accounts Payables, Receivables and Payroll to monthly Financial Reporting and meetings. We also continue to provide business consulting to Rob, as needed, for his current and future ventures.

Client Portfolio: Dave Evans Construction, LLC

Dave Evans Construction, LLC is one of the leading Commercial Building and Development companies in the Treasure Valley. To optimize their growth, they chose to implement a computer and software solution that would meet their needs. Excell Business Management was hired to assist them with this solution and provide services ranging from financial consulting to network design and implementation.

Excell presented and implemented a QuickBooks solution that was specific to their industry, allowing them to utilize all areas of the software and apply each to their business. In addition to this, we designed and implemented a business network. Combining these solutions allows them advanced in-house operations as well as remote accessibility.

Excell assisted Dave Evans’ staff through the entire testing and production phase of this implementation. As a result, each member of Dave Evans’ team is trained and working proficiently on their new software and computer system. Our goal, as it is with each of our clients, was to work “with” them in establishing their new system and procedures.
